Day 61 shop, hair cut, movie, great food

Today, we began the first of two full days at Legacy Harbor, Ft. Meyers, Florida. The first picture is Lucky Us in Legacy Harbor with 3 of the 5 towers of High Point Place in the background.  Bob picked us up at 8:00 am for a shopping trip that included Sam's Club for staples, West Marine for some much needed parts, Publix for groceries and Advancced Auto Parts for motor oil.  It is about time for an oil change, and we bought 9 gallons (each main engine takes 3 gallons).  Fortunately, the oil was on sale so in all we saved about $9.00 per gallon versus the price at a marine store! Bob was not only a great chauffeur, but it turned out that he joined right in with the shopping...
After lunch on the boat, the Admiral and I headed out to the movie theater
to see "Superman". Wow, we have really gotten behind on watching the new movies. On the way to the movie theater, we stopped at a "Master Cuts" across from the theater where the Admiral and I both got much needed hair cuts.
For dinner we were invited up to Bob & Bonnie's condo in High Point Place. The second photo is from their condo looking down into Legacy Harbor where we are staying. We were treated to a gourmet dinner including prime rib that Bob had cooked. Excellent!
The final photo is of the two Admirals who were no doubt plotting something while chatting on the balcony after dinner? I suspect it was not a boat cruise??? Well, stay tuned to learn what happens tomorrow...
